Beware of hidden/undisclosed fees. Was referred by my dentist to see them about possibly needing work done. Made the appointment and gave them my insurance information ahead of time before my appointment date. After the consultation, was charged $50 copay which wasn’t expected but paid because it’s not abnormal to have a copay at a visit. Later I got a text and email saying I needed to pay an extra $146. Apparently they charge a consultation fee that’s almost $200 that isn’t covered. Maybe I’m naive because all my other dentists, periodontists, orthodontists in the past tell me ahead of time if there are any uncovered costs so I assumed they would do the same. Please let my mistake help others. Don’t assume that since you give them your insurance and they don’t tell you something isn’t covered that it is covered. And to the office, please disclose of costs and fees that aren’t normally covered to the patient and don’t make them ask. I added 1 star because the dental assistant was very nice and pleasant at the appointment.

Perio Specialist is the place to go for dental implants. Everyone there is very professional and caring. Dr. Nguyen was amazing. She explained everything and answered all my questions. There were no issues with the procedure. Even after the numbness wore off there was minimal pain. Hopefully I won't have to have more dental implants but if I do, I will definitely go to Perio Specialist.

I was referred to Dr Vasanthan for gingival grafting. I found the office very organized and the staff extremely friendly. They make you feel comfortable. Dr. Vasanthan was nice and he explained my upcoming procedure so it was easy to understand. He also took time to answer my questions. I am not nervous about my scheduled surgery.
