Originally from the mountains of Utah, and now a California transplant, I graduated from UC Berkeley with dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Cellular Biology. After working as an Engineer for a few years in the Bay Area, I made the decision to transition to patient care while utilizing my engineering background by pursuing Dentistry. I could not leave beautiful California, so I decided to attend the University of California, San Francisco to earn my DDS (Doctorate in Dental surgery).

I continued through specialty training in Periodontics at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center/UCLA. This was a unique experience and it truly was an honor to provide care for veterans who have given so much to serve our country. The extensive curriculum focused on the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease, dental implants, and complex restorative rehabilitation of the mouth with distinct clinical expertise in implant placement, gum grafting and bone grafting, treatment of periodontal disease and dental implant disease along with intra-venous conscious sedation. Completing residency at the VA Medical Center gave me experience in treating patients with an array of medical conditions and extensive knowledge in pre-restorative periodontics to provide exceptional surgical care.

Outside of the workplace, I try to live a balanced lifestyle through fitness and running. You are likely to find me in the mountains exploring the outdoors by hiking, camping, and backpacking and I look forward to skiing and snowboarding every winter season.
